I never had any kind of sweet game system as a kid, and now as an adult I’ve found the XBox 360 strangely addicting. The guys at work got me hooked on Halo 3, which turned into using an XBox at home for Netflix streaming, and eventually getting RockBand 2 for Christmas. But it’s an awesome thing, cause now my “I never want us to own a game system” wife is never going to let go of the XBox, which I’m very happy about.
I love Netflix over the XBox & definitely Rock Band. Beatles Rock Band almost made me cry, it was so beautiful. Also, using the XBox to stream videos and music from my office PC has been great.
On the subject of your wife and her opinion of the XBox – it’s funny how the most adamant against something can eventually become the greatest supporters…
